The Career Readiness Hub includes unlimited access to virtual field trips, job shadowing, project mentoring by industry leaders, financial literacy and life planning curriculum, the California Department of Education’s Employability Skills Framework and the OC Pathways Workforce Ready! certificate course.
Virtual field trips and mentorships
Business and industry partners will seamlessly connect with your classrooms virtually and in real-time through the Career Readiness Hub. Students can engage digitally with industry experts to talk about potentialcareers, have classroom projects evaluated or take virtual workplace tours.
Interactive career exploration
The Career Readiness Hub provides highly engaging, 21st-century career exploration resources for middle, high school and post-secondary students. Students are provided opportunities to virtually explore a wide range of careers.
Workforce readiness skills
The Workforce Ready! training offers core workplace skills sought by employers at all levels. This three-module course, developed by the California Department of Education and workforce leaders, is self-paced, online and facilitated by a work-based learning specialist. Upon completion, students receive a certificate and are eligible to be considered for mentorships and internships.
